Prayer & Praise Update on the Lutzes

Saturday, May 23, 2015 Dear Friends, When Christ Jesus saved the Apostle Paul on the Damascus Road, the Lord commissioned him to take the Gospel to the nations.  The Lord had a saving purpose for him: the chief of sinners must proclaim to all His saving grace: “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”  (Acts 26:16,18  NKJV) Our exalted Savior’s purpose has not changed!  Pastors and teachers, evangelists and missionaries, and all His followers are under the same Great Commission today.  So that includes you and me!  It is His holy will and unchanging mission to make disciples of all nations.  The end will not come until that is fulfilled. I have read how William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, had a great passion for the salvation of the lost. He once said, “Go for souls, and go for the worst.” One of Jesus’ harvest fields is the Northeast region of Haiti.  There are a host of pastors and church leaders  there who desperately need and desire training to be faithful to Jesus’ calling.  The Lord of the harvest is sending me to establish a MINTS study center which will equip them to reach their own people.  Haiti is a desperately poor and needy part of the world.  I’ve been to the Caribbean island a dozen times and seen it all firsthand.  Conditions in Haiti are the worst, but with God all things are possible! After a dozen years of pastor ministry in North Georgia, Lord willing, we are moving to Florida as our new home next month.  The relocation should be better for Cheryl’s health, puts us near to family and friends and closer to Haiti and other places of ministry in the Caribbean and Latin America.  We are downsizing but gearing up for a new season of ministry with MINTS and seeking ministry opportunities in Florida.  We want you to come visit us!  And in the mean time please pray for us weekly! Prayers of Thanksgiving
