Where Are You Seated?

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus… (Eph. 2:4-6)

“The minute you entered the kingdom of God, you were outfitted for battle.  Each piece of your armor was provided in salvation.  And although ultimate victory is secure, you must put on each piece of the armor if you’re going to win the battle.  Not a piece can be missing.  Then, you must stand firm!” Kay Arthur

I would love to be entered into your contest! I’m not sure I have too many questions, other than maybe, Why is no one willing to discuss this topic (other than you and me)? Once again, just yesterday, a Christian said to me, “I’ve heard about spiritual warfare, but am not really sure what it is all about.” Why are believers ignoring a HUGE portion of Scripture that discusses this subject and our responsibility with it? This needs to change. That is the mission you and I have been called to. Glad we can share in this journey together!

I have studied the subject of spiritual warfare throughout my journey with the Lord. So many times, I have been “hood-winked” by the spiritual battles all around me and I have lost the fight. I would love to see you address some specific examples of spiritual warfare that you have experienced and the way in which the believer can wield his/her weapons. Thanks so much for your obedience to the Lord’s calling on your life. Looking forward to your blog!
    Praying for you,
    Holly

REMEMBERING to put on EACH PIECE of our spiritual armor on a DAILY basis . . . perhaps this seems easy to do. I may put on each piece in the morning, but during the day I seem to allow people and things to distract & influence me and my behavior. Putting each piece on may not be that difficult, but STANDING FIRM all day, every day, is so hard to do!

I am looking forward to your next blog. I think there are a lot of people, young Christians included, do not know what Spiritual Warfare is all about! It is real and it does exist for those who are aware of it and for those who do not know it exist.
